Synopsis

Witness Your Sacrifice. Feel Its Meaning.

Bismillah…

This Eidul Adha, don’t just perform Qurban… experience it.

For many of us, Qurban has become something we “click and complete.” A transaction done in minutes. Efficient, convenient… but distant.

But Qurban was never meant to be distant. It was meant to be seen, felt, and remembered.

Very often, we sit down for lunch or dinner, and meat is simply placed on our plates. Cooked. Prepared. Ready to eat. But how often do we pause and ask… where did this meat come from? What was sacrificed so that we could be fed?

Qurban reminds us of something we often forget. That every piece of meat we consume comes from a life that Allah has allowed for us. It is not random. It is not automatic. It is a provision, a trust, from Allah.

In Singapore, we are far removed from this reality. There are no open slaughterhouses. No daily exposure to how animals are sacrificed. Everything is clean, efficient, and distant. Over time, this distance changes us. Qurban slowly becomes something we delegate… something we click… something we no longer feel.

And if we are not careful, this ibadah risks becoming unfamiliar to future generations. Our children may grow up never witnessing a Qurban, never understanding the process, never feeling the weight of sacrifice. Qurban becomes a concept… not a lived experience.

Allah reminds us, “It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your piety that reaches Him.” (Surah Al-Hajj 22:37)

This is the heart of Qurban. Not the act alone, but the taqwa behind it.

The Prophet ﷺ said, “There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of sacrifice than the sacrificing of animals.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi, 1493 — Hasan Sahih) And in another narration, “For every hair of the Qurban, you receive a reward.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, 3127)

Every moment matters. Every detail is rewarded.

This is why Live Qurban in Singapore is different.

This is your opportunity to be present. To make your niyyah and witness the sacrifice carried out in your name. To stand there and reflect on the story of Nabi Ibrahim عليه السلام, and what it truly means to submit to Allah.

When you witness Qurban, something changes. You are no longer distant from the act. You feel it. You understand it. You carry that moment with you.

And the next time meat is placed before you, you remember. You eat with gratitude. You reflect with humility. You recognise the blessing in every bite.

This is not just a service. This is an ibadah you will remember for life.

By supporting Live Qurban in Singapore, you are not only fulfilling your obligation. You are preserving a Sunnah. You are ensuring that this practice remains alive in our community. That it is not lost to convenience. That our children can see it, understand it, and carry it forward.

In places like Singapore, where opportunities for Live Qurban are rare, supporting it becomes more than a choice. It becomes a responsibility. Because if we do not keep this alive… who will?

Your Qurban will be performed in Singapore in a fully Shariah-compliant manner. You will have the option to witness the slaughter, receive a portion of the meat, and have the rest distributed to beneficiaries within our local community.

Due to strict regulations, slots for Live Qurban in Singapore are extremely limited each year. Once filled, registration will close.

This year, don’t let your Qurban be just another transaction.

Let it be a moment of reflection, humility, and connection with Allah.

Let it be something you feel. Something you remember. Something that brings you closer to Him.

Terms

Photo Evidence Policy

Photography and videography at the slaughter area are strictly not allowed.

This includes all devices such as cameras, mobile phones, drones, or any recording equipment, unless officially authorised for documentation purposes.

This is to preserve the sanctity of the ibadah and ensure a controlled, respectful environment.

Understanding the Full Process

To ensure a smooth and meaningful experience, please take note of the following steps:

Upon arrival at the Qurban location, you will be required to register and obtain a queue number. At this point, you will also confirm how much of the meat you wish to collect, as well as whether you would like to receive the organs. If this is not asked, you may inform the admin accordingly.

After registration, you will be guided to the waiting area before witnessing the Qurban.

When it is your turn, you will be instructed to proceed to the slaughter area. All mobile phones must be switched off before entering.

This is important for two reasons. First, to prevent any unauthorised photography or recording. Second, to avoid disruptions such as phone calls or sounds that may startle the animal. A calm environment ensures that the Qurban is carried out in the best and most humane manner, where the animal remains at ease.

Before the slaughter begins, you will confirm the names for the Qurban, Aqiqah, or Nazar with the slaughterer. The niyyah will be recited accordingly. You are encouraged to recite the Takbir as the Qurban is performed.

Once the slaughter is completed, you will proceed to the collection area to wait for your meat.

Please note that the time between slaughter and collection typically ranges from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on operational flow and the speed of processing by the team handling skinning, cutting, and packing.
